IC Executive Rep (Sales) – Freelance, South-Africa and Global

Definition summary:

LA Sky is desirous to appoint an Independent Contractor Executive Representative on a freelance basis to primarily source Confirmed Business Leads specifically toward Services offered by LA Sky, exclusively.

Core Objectives:

You will leverage your business savvy and deal-making skills to target key corporate clients in our effort to supply sustainable transport and logistics services that meets their operations- and overall business goals.

The Independent Contractor endeavors to seek/find, identify and facilitate a prospective Confirmed Business Lead exclusively toward LA Sky in order for the Sales Support Operations to present Services offered that meets the prospective new client’s needs resulting into a sale.

  • The Independent Contractor endeavors to seek/find, identify and facilitate a prospective Confirmed Business Lead exclusively toward LA Sky in order for the Sales Support Operations to present Services offered that meets the prospective new client’s needs resulting into a sale.
  • Travel and attend meetings with relevant stakeholders and clients as and when required.
  • Develop new customers through honest propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • You will prospect for clients via telephone, email and approved social media platforms continually.
  • Closing Sales of R100 000.00 min total sales income/revenue per month.
  • Identify and facilitate a prospective client lead speedily in collaboration with unparalleled excellence ethics – training provided.
  • You will continue to follow up with the prospective client by any means necessary after you have issued a quote and/or SLA within the validity period of the quote in order to close the sale.

Qualifications

  • Min Matric/Grade 12. Sales and Marketing Qualification advantage.
  • Min 2 years overall working experience in a similar environment/as a traveling Rep.

Obligations

The Representative shall prospect for clients and attempt to transact business with clients for and on behalf of the company in respect of the different classes of business or products as set out in the company’s Product and Service List as amended from time to time.

Prospecting for clients and method of prospecting will include but not be limited to;

  1. Field prospecting and appointment setting;
  2. Email outbound and inbound prospecting;
  3. Management approved Social Media interface prospecting- LinkedIn, Facebook and Whatsapp.
  4. Approved media material and text templates will be supplied; the representative will only share content as approved for Social Media Interfaces.
  5. The Representative will issue a new business quote request/proposal of business obtained to Quotes and Estimates Department with all acquired information and await the response from Quotes and Estimates department, from where a tailored solution will be proposed and issued back to the Representative for presentation to the prospective client.
  6. Once the client has accepted the offer issued from Quotes and Estimates department the Representative will issue the proof of payment and set-requirements received to the Operations Manager for the Operations Department to perform agreed duties as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and/or Service Invoice.
  7. The Representative will continually follow up on the existing client book for relevant new business and conduct short surveys based on previous serviced rendered.

Remuneration

Lucrative commission (only)  per Confirmed New Business Lead sourced by the Independent Contractor entering into a prepaid sale agreement with LA Sky acquiring the rental or hiring of Services offered by LA Sky.

Reports To

The Internal Sales Professional will report to the acting Portfolio Head of LA Sky.

Remuneration

5% of total revenue generated within a month or 20% of net profit generated within a month – whichever is highest. Commission upscaling from R100 001.00 revenue generated. Minimum target per month period is R100 000.00 revenue/sales income.

LA Sky is desirous to appoint an Internal Sales Professional on an interim 3 months term basis to primarily source clients specifically toward Services offered by LA Sky, exclusively. The Internal Sales Professional will reach lucrative commission targets with an upscaling benefit for outstanding performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Once the client has accepted the offer issued from Quotes and Estimates department the Representative will issue the proof of payment and set-requirements received to the direct line manager for the Operations department to perform agreed duties as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and/or Service Invoice.
  • The Representative will continually follow up on the existing client book for relevant new business and conduct short surveys based on previous serviced rendered.
